Tea is possibly one of the most favourite ways to perk up or slow down, get a surge of energy or relax – and this may seem paradoxical, but then tea is an elixir that enables all of these, depending on the tea type. With the festival season and winter around the corner, getting ready for fun or cozying up in a warm blanket, with your favourite tea in tow, is ideal. The most loved of beverages, tea, combined with one of the most loved flavours, vanilla, is a match made in heaven – one of our personal favourites!
Even though the word Vanilla is meant as ‘ordinary’, ‘lacking distinction’, and ‘common place’, vanilla tea is definitely one of the finer tastes! Vanilla tea prepared at home is just the right balance of creaminess and sweetness, and the best part is how easy it is to prepare with the right tea bags and few ingredients ordinarily found in any kitchen. Vanilla tea can be made hot or cold in a few minutes, depending on your preference. Cold Vanilla Tea
Again, nothing ordinary or mundane about this type of Vanilla tea. Vanilla tea bags, some sweetener, hot water, and ice cubes, with a tall glass – all that you need to prepare this uplifting and refreshing beverage. Use high-quality pyramid-shaped Vanilla tea bags, either black or green tea, to get an outstanding and sophisticated glass of chilled Vanilla tea. Bonus tip: make a large pitcher of it – everyone is sure to ask for refills!
What you Need for Pitcher:
- 4 ½ cups of water
- 5 regular-sized pyramid-shaped Vanilla tea bags
- ½ cup sugar (granulated)
How to Prepare:
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Turn off the heat, and place tea bags inside the water. Allow steeping for several minutes. When still warm, remove tea bags. Add sugar and mix well. Pour into a large jug or pitcher.
- Keep in the refrigerator
- Serve with ice cubes, if preferred
Why Use Tea Bags?
Tea bags are convenient and easy to brew. It is important, however, to pay attention to the tea bag you use. Poor quality tea bags contain tea dust/fannings instead of whole leaves. These broken leaves make a stale, weak, and flavourless brew. Tea connoisseurs will tell you, however, that not all tea bags have the same bad rap. Pyramid-shaped bags and tea pouches are the ideal choices when choosing tea bags since they allow the tea leaves to breathe, absorb water, and expand – enabling better infusion and aroma, leading to a flavoursome tea. You would also be able to clearly see that these types of tea bags contain whole leaves, which maximize flavour, producing an elixir of taste and health.
Gift yourself a pack of Vanilla tea bags and experience the delicate aromatic and floral notes. Vanilla tea is as uplifting as the spice itself – a universally loved flavour, which soothes as it elicits feelings of indulgence, warmth, comfort, and zest. Wishing you happy and flavoursome times ahead!
