Frequently Asked Questions

Is CTC different from whole-leaf teas?

Yes, They're different in the way they're processed and their characteristics. CTC or Cut, Tear, and Curled tea is a type of processed tea consisting of small, uniform tea particles. Whole-leaf teas, on the other hand, are made up of whole or partially broken leaves. Each of these varieties has its own unique properties and taste. While whole-leaf teas are known for their complex flavor and good retention of nutrients and antioxidants, CTC teas are favored for their quick brewing and uniformity. It's best to try both types and decide which one best suits your taste and brewing preferences.

Can black tea be brewed without milk?

Yes, you can simply enjoy the brew in water as well.

Where are your Teas from?

We source our teas from renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

How are your products packed?

After sourcing directly from plantations and farms, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in Delhi NCR, India. The teas and ingredients then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, and quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors, etc. These are vacuum-packaged using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum bags are then put inside cardboard boxes, sealed, and then stored in a state-of-the-art warehouse which ensures that the teas and the ingredients remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in retail boxes and then sent over to our fulfillment centers located in various parts of the world.
