Know Your Tea Better.

Where are your Teas from?

We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

How are the Teas packaged?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

If my vacuum-sealed pack is not tight, is the tea still fresh and consumable?

Our teas are vacuum-packed fresh at source in India. At times, when you open the box, you might find the vacuum bag loose. This is completely normal & has no impact on the freshness of the tea. The pouch is still sealed & all stale air has been flushed out. So, cut open the bag & brew yourself a cup of tea.

In how many days can the product be delivered?

The product will reach the customer within 3-5 working days except Hawaii, California, New York, Texas, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Hawaii, Nebraska, Alaska, North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota after placing the order.

Incredibly excellent

I have been drinking Assam teas for many years. Over the past few years I have found that good growers are packing fewer flower tips, making rather plain tasting teas. I decided to try Vahdam Assam Gold second flush based on the description on Amazon. I am so delighted with this robust, malty tea and will continue to purchase it. Yes, it is expensive, but some things are worth the additional cost; especially this tea.

Bold without being harsh, very flavorful tea. This tea is my daily routine. I get three steepings out of a heaping teaspoon of leaves, steeped for 3.5, 5, and 6 minutes in 190 degree F water.
