Tasting Notes

Appearance - Well-made, stylish dark coppery leaves with chunky golden tips peeking through like twinkling stars

Aroma - Sweet with hints of malty nuttiness with wafting hues of caramelised nuts and raisins

Taste - Full-bodied with briskness and strength, the mouthfeel has a pleasant astringency - typical of Summer Flush Assam teas. A dash of milk and sugar makes for a good breakfast tea

Are black teas from Assam the strongest?

Yes, Assam's black tea are the strongest in flavour and caffeine kick.

How are the Teas packaged?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

My stomach can't handle coffee and this, while tasting so much better than any coffee I've ever had, wakes me up so smoothly and I maintain my day without the coffee crash.

This is a great tea to start my day. Strong but not at all bitter, great with milk and sugar.

This is a perfect tea for adding sweetener and milk. It's bold and strong and holds up well without getting weak when you add milk to it.
