Appearance - Dark-coppery, finely plucked and superbly made stylish whole leaves with an opulence of chunky golden tips

Aroma - Delightfully malty with pronounced notes of cedar and a humming sweetness of ripened cherries

Taste - Full-bodied, rich and malty cup with a strong body and briskness that is intense as well as mellow and smooth, layered with hues of toasted nuts, making it the perfect choice for milk tea

What makes Second Flush Teas highly-prized around the world?

Post the first tea harvest called the 'First Flush', Second Flush follows between May to June. The tea leaves are picked and are characterized as well-rounded, fruity and mature, flavored tea leaves. Tea brewed from these leaves is less astringent and more improved than the First Flush.

How are the Teas packaged?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors, etc., these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

Excellent Tea

I am regular tea lover and had it since childhood however never tried assam/Darjeeling black teas and never knew about them. Came across these teas recently and decided to order VAHDAM which is pretty expensive but worth a try. This Doomni Exotic Assam tea is excellent, nothing like this ever tasted before and I am hooked to it already. I am awaiting other 5 teas in similar types to arrive from VAHDAM. Wish they reduced prices of these teas as I want to try all of their loose-leaf teas. Guess I am becoming greedy for VAHDAM :-) I am also wondering how I am going to identify each tea once they arrive as loose packing bag doesn't come with tag/tea name
