Frequently Asked Questions

Know your Tea Better.

Where are your Teas from?

We source our teas from over 150 renowned plantations and small individual farms in India. Within the country, we procure from 5 popular tea-producing regions, namely: Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Kangra, and Sikkim.

How are the Teas packaged?

After sourcing our teas directly from plantations within hours of harvest, we bring them to our state-of-the-art tea facility in New Delhi, India. The teas then go through rigorous rounds of cleaning, sorting, quality testing to remove any impurities/dust/foreign particles. Post 10+ quality checkpoints for leaf size, aroma, liquor, flavors etc. these are vacuum-packaged in opaque aluminum-lined bags using sophisticated machinery. These vacuum-bags are then stored in a dehumidified, temperature-controlled warehouse which ensures that the teas remain garden-fresh and maintain their character. Further, required quantities are packed in smaller vacuum-sealed packs which are boxed in the retail boxes and then sent over to our own delivery centers located in various parts of the world.

Best Temi you can get outside Sikkim

Beautiful tea - this batch is better than the last one I ordered. The leaves brew sparkling clear tea with a very distinct flavour that is characteristic of Temi teas. It's an absolutely perfect morning tea and something that can wean anyone off coffee or other teabags. Can re-use the leaves for a second lighter brew as well. Doesn't turn bitter or too astringent even after a long soak - sight of a great tea leaf. Love it. Highly recommended.

Robust flavor

This is one of the best Indian black leaf teas I have used so far. I have been using Darjeeling, Ooty, ceylone leaf for years but Sikkim beats all. It is close cousin of Darjeeling in terms of flavor but much better. I heat water only between 60 to 65 degrees centigrade and add tea & strain after 2 minutes. In my experience, heating beyond 70 would reduce the flavor. Boiling like Indian Chai will certainly degrade real tea flavor. Now this is my favorite tea over ceylone, Darjeeling and Ooty.

Need more info

You need to state what year and picking this tea is. I would never pay this much without knowing those details. Just include the upfront.
